Co-Organizer and Musical AccompanistJeff is Associate Publisher of the Mirthquake's media sponsor "The Hippo" and has long been interested in the history and preservation of silent era film. He is an accomplished musican and composer who wrote the music score for the locally produced feature film "Dangerous Crosswinds." Additionally, Jeff has provided silent film accompaniment at festivals and venues such as the New York Public Libray's Silent Film Series, Cinefest (in Syracuse, NY), the Thelma Todd Celebration and last year's inaugural Mirthquake as well as a number od shows at local venues. Co-Organizer and Technical ProducerDave is a film historian and archivist who, along with his wife Alison, co-owns Looser Than Loose Publishing - a New Hampshire-based DVD production house specializing in silent and early sound comedy films. He is co-editor and co-publisher of Slapstick! Magazine, an on-line journal dedicated to promoting silent comedy history. Previously, he served as co-editor of the Intra- Tent Journal which is the official magazine of the International Laurel and Hardy Society, The Sons of the Desert. Dave has presented, or contributed, film to Cinefest, Slapsticon, the Museum of Modern Art, The Silent Clown Film Series in New York, The Thelma Todd Celebration and the Manchester Mirthquake. Co-Organizer and HostCole is a prominent film historian who has contributed photos, facts and articles to a large number of books and periodicals on early cinema. He is a co-founder of the Thelma Todd Society and editor of its journal. Cole is co-editor of Slapstick! On-Line Magazine. He has presented shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., Slapsticon, The Thelma Todd Celebration and the Manchester Mirthquake. Historian and HostMark is film historian and cofounder of the Thelma Todd Society. In his daily life, he serves as an archivist for the Hearst Corporation in New York City. Mark recently appeared as a commentator on the acclaimed Popeye DVD set. He has contributed film, images and effort to Cinefest, Slapsticon, the Thelma Todd Celebration and the Mirthquake. Mark owns one of the largest (if not the largest) archives of original movie advertisements which encompasses glass slides, newspaper advertisements, posters and lobby cards. Co-Organizer and Communications CoordinatorAli is a skilled editor and illustrator whose efforts have allowed such magazines as the Intra-Tent Journal, the Laurel and Hardy Magazine and Slapstick! On-Line to reach international audinces.
